Last week I worked on a lap quilt using Moda Blockheads 5 patterns. Some of the blocks were made earlier in the year, and I've already used some for a table runner. I'm making a 9 block lap quilt for a friend.Deciding on the layout with what I had left meant that I needed 3-4 more blocks.Using a different, but similar pattern to the top left on the board I reversed the colours to add a block to the bottom right (see top picture). I liked that look so repeated the idea for the bottom centre block. I enjoy making flying geese this way.
Last block to make (I think) will be for the top right, using the bright dark blue in the middle block, and the matching on the bottom. Will make it this week - or next.
