Projects I'm doing

Trying to remember when to check and download has been my downfall - well that, and wanting to do so many projects. So this is my way of keeping track. In 2017 I decided to use a 'roll the dice' system to get some of my UFO's finished. I'll try to keep this updated 😉

Roll the Dice Update:

  1. Caravan Quilt top to quilt
  2. Brown Bag Mystery finished - top now to quilt
  3. En Provence to finish, quilt
  4. Row by Row top to quilt
  5. Halloween Mystery to finish, quilt
  6. Christmas Countdown to finish- hand sewing, quilt

Projects finished 2018:

1. Elvis coasters x 40
2. Mackenzie's Baby Quilt
3.

2018

* along with finishing all my UFO's
* 1930's Farmer's Wife - I started this in 2015, and after machine sewing a few block, I decided to hand sew the remaining. I do most of my hand sewing while we are traveling, and also do other hexie and kaleidoscope hand sewing, so I got way behind. Gnomeangel started a NEW Farmers wife, so maybe I'll be able to catch up LOL!!
* I also started Moda Blockheads last year, so have a lot to catch up on.
* I've also 'accidentally' come across some Instagram sew-a-longs. #fussycuttingsewalong. It is a 12 month challenge and I'm really enjoying the weekly hexie flowers that I'm making.

2016-2017

Well, I'm not sure what happened. I certainly did many projects, just forgot to log them. We did do a lot of traveling in the caravan both years.

2015

*Fools Gold Mystery Quilt - a free pattern designed by Carolyn Vagts, the editor of Quilter's World from a book by Susan Mallery called Fool's Gold. The mystery runs for eight weeks. FINISHED

*The Farmers Wife 1930's Sampler Quilt Along - by Gnome Angel and starts Sept 29 - I have the book and I have the fabric - just need to wait until Tuesday 7.30am Australia time to start :) - 99 blocks, will take about a year.

*PatchKats by Justquiltin, will be a good way to use up some of my orphan blocks. Monthly starting March 21st
*Smitten Quilt by Lucy Kingwell for Jen Kingwell Designs. I'm doing a quilt-a-long via Sit and Stitch a While blog. It starts in February and finishes in September.
*Snapshots Quilt-a-long by Fatquartershop asks for a donation for the free block patterns - cheap at twice the price!! Comes out the 15th of each month.
*I also signed up for the Crafty 2015 Block of the Month, by Jinny Beyer. Still need to quilt 2012 BOM; and continue with 2013; and start 2014 :)

*FatCatPatterns often have BOM's in progress. New one starts in June Gno Buddies. I'll be away, but will try to remember to download pattern for when I get home. I like this site, because download is free for the month it is released, and if you miss one it is available for a short time at a minimal cost, so I can keep up. The site also has a lot of freebies.
