Hello November

Hello November, the last month of spring and boy its going to be another hot summer. I'm working on the Bernina Sugaridoo sew along. This row is called Slanty Strips, and it is a lot of sewing and matching. Above is the first block and I didn't match the 'strawberry' strips very well, so I think I will unpick and try again. I matched the black strips ok and forgot about the others.

I did manage to hand sew one more block of the Focus Cutting sew along. This is block 35 - R is for red. My backing papers are recycled travel brochures - hence the odd colours showing through.

Bonnie Hunters mystery quilt colours came out yesterday, so I will be thinking about the colours I will be using. I do try to stay away from purple pink and teal - but they are so pretty together.
