February Focus Cutting Blocks

Rains have stopped for now and we are preparing to head south for a few weeks. Hand sewing has been packed and I still need to decided what fabric to take, always difficult when I don't know what the themes will be for some projects.

Theme for February was 'all about me', with the prompts:-

Where I live;

What I like - I love sewing of course and I love travelling, especially cruising;

Favourite colour;

And one more thing - I'm not a dog person, but I do have a toy scottie dog, because I am proudly descended from Scotland. This fabric is a recycled cotton pyjama top that my sister in law found a few years back in an op shop. I needed animal fabric for a prompt and this is what I used. I think I use it a few times for the #focuscuttingsewalong every year since.

Also this week I finished the Asian fabric quilt top that my Auntie had given me for our son. I used diagonal straight lines.
