Rhododendron Trail Completed - Yay!

What a hectic two weeks. Computer died while still under warranty, thank goodness, and we needed to get it replaced; finishing off Rhododendron Trail quilt - no mystery anymore; rain and more rain - causing flooding under the house; and planning a getaway for a few weeks in our van. It's way too hard to do the blog on my phone with no computer, so it was easier to just skip it for a week.

I'm so happy that I finished Quiltville Mystery quilt. I took the photo above, took the quilt off our bed and carefully folded it up to wait until cooler weather to use it. I did edge to edge quilting, which I had never done before, and can't say I'm a fan, although if I had perhaps done a straight line edge to edge it may have been better. Binding was the same teal fabric used in the quilt. I love it.

Finishing one quilt, I decided to quilt another top that I have had for a couple of years. This one was gifted to me by my Auntie for our son who likes Asian things. Not sure how I will quilt it yet, maybe straight lines, not sure.

With all this rain we are having I'll have plenty of time to sew. No gardening this weekend.
