May Rainbow Scrap Challenge

The colour for last month's rainbow scrap challenge was orange. I made some butterflies and bugs. I also added three more scrap triangles to my collection.

It is such a good way to use up scraps, and I do save even the smallest scraps.I made some more 6.5" and 4.5" scrappy blocks. I have enough 6.5" now to make a nice quilt.

Only four more coasters this time.

Lastly I made some more hearts and Easter eggs for next years cruises.

The colour for June is pastels - so I might give that a miss. Instead I will start sewing some butterfly blocks together ans my leaders and enders for the next project.

Today I will iron and trim all the above and tidy up the sewing room in readiness for my next project - which may be another triangle quilt.

  3. I struggle to make use of odd shapes and slivers. You have a talent for doing just that.
