Blocks 6 and 7 were 18" blocks so I will leave them until I either have time, or have finished the two 9" projects I'm making with MBH6. Block 8 is Sandcastle by Sherri McConnell of A Quilting Life. I really liked this block and printed out the blank design page to make many different block designs. These are my two block 8's. The red photo one shows Jonnie, taken way back in 1997. I think I only need one more red block for the red column.
The fairy block was made without the teal to go in the centre of the side border.
It was way too light. This one is much better and will be one of the corner blocks.
