March Sewalong - Fussy/Focus Cutting.

We have been travelling in the caravan for a month now along the east coast of New South Wales, after two years of not being able to. It was great visiting family and friends, exploring new places and revisiting old. This has left only a little time for sewing. I've kept up with the focus (fussy) cutting sew along, with March theme being Happiness and week 9 being International Women's Day. I chose some Tula Pink fabric, one very clever designer.

A fat quarter that I now have very little left. Still I'll get some 1/2" hexies out of these pieces.

Week 10 - cruising makes us happy, and with cruise ships finally coming back to Australia, we have two cruises booked.

Week 11 - sewing makes me happy,

and one needs threads to sew.

Week 12 - and along the same theme, one needs needles to sew.

As we now head inland away from the coast, we are hoping for less rain and more dry underfoot.

  4. I rarely fussy-cut, and that's probably why I find these beauties so dazzling. The Tula hexie is my favorite!
