Working on Another Backing

This week I have been working on the backing of Between the Lines quilt, designed by Irene of Surgaridoo. I finished the quilt top about 18 months ago, so time to turn it into a quilt. It is single bed size but we will use it as a picnic rug I think.

I used the left over blocks from the front to make a column feature for the back, then added large leftover scraps of black to make the back.

 

First one side, then the other.

Then the top half.

Yesterday I sandwiched the three layers and pinned - ready for quilting today.
