It has been a lovely Easter Week on the Bellinger River - we have now moved further north and are on the Clarence River now. Of course we had to stop via Spotlight to pick up a few things, AND... there was a 40% off fabric sale, so I did have to get some more fabric ;-).
This week I hope to finish some projects - all except for the quilting - that will have to wait until I get home to my good machine. Here is what I've been up to.
The almost finished owl wall hanging
Making some Christmas Mug Rugs - yes I am starting early :-)

I love to hang up what I've made to look at.
This lovely quilt was made by a friends mother - I'm adding the sashing, binding and putting it all together.
I really like it and think I will have to make a similar one :-)
On my list!!!!
Happy Sewing
Aren't you clever taking your sewing machine away on holiday. We are travelling the South Island in our caravan, and I only have hand stitching with me. Which only gets done occassionaly - in between the sightseeing and blogging.

Hi Jenny, I have a cheap sewing machine that 'lives' in the van. Only does straight stitching and zig-zag (badly). But it is better than nothing. Wish I had bought some has sewing with me this time :-)
