Mayhem Mystery quilt top finished

Wow, it's been a busy week. Stayed up until 2am on 2 January, to start the Mayhem Mystery, only to be so tired I had to go to bed before starting. Woke up at 4am and started sewing all the strips together - at 7am I had to pack up all my sewing to go on vacation in the caravan! That was Monday. Tuesday I had the chance to do  little more, so I sewed all the squares together. That took what seemed like hours and hours. Wednesday we did a day trip to Maclean - The Scottish Town in Australia, so no sewing. Today I was determine to finish the top and I did.

I am very happy with the way it turned out. I did change the long borders by adding a row of three squares in the center.

The colour strips I chose.

I did multiple layers for cutting

 My sewing area while camping.

All the pairs cut and waiting for matching

Some of the strips waiting to be cut and squared.

Squaring the 61/2" squares

Half of the rows sewn together

I'm really happy with it

Happy sewing
Allison
