I had fun doing the one day Super Bowl table topper mystery - that took me one week, but in all fairness I did have to do it in between school work at home and school. I really like the way it turned out and think I will make another one or five :). It was a gift for my friend and I think she liked it.
Colour choices. I used all fat quarters.
Ruling a pencil line diagonally on wrong side of the light squares.
Sewing either side of the line
All the squares made from the half square triangles - ironed and waiting to be squared.
Making the middle of each block.
Laying out the block
Block one complete.
Top all ready for layering.
Ironing the three layers in preparation for quilting.
I used a meandering stitch.
Sewing on the binding.
Hand sewing the binding
Finished top
And the label :)
Happy Sewing
