Friday Catch-up.

I tried to catch up with hand stitching this week and working on yellow scraps. It is amazing the paterns that can be made by fussy cutting. The above block was made from this fabric. E is for elephant.

Really had trouble finding D fabric, so my block 8 catch-up is D for diamonds. I did find some dog fabric, so that will be next weeks hand sewing.

Block 12 was matching F for flowers.

I also had time to stitch a few more blocks and spacers onto the quilt - that has been years in the making.

If you look in the centre there is a black and yellow block, that is where I started way back in 2021. I just keep going round in circles.

Another week has passed and I haven't started quilting the Christmas picnic quilt BUT I have cleaned off the 'sandwiching' table ...

and tomorrow I WILL get started!

  2. You are getting there! The trouble is, there is always so much we want to do, new projects to start, WIPs sitting there, which to do first?
